BLACKFOREST
Blackforest is a classic. Originally it is from Germany but now this cake has spread all over the world even to Indonesia. It is so common. You can buy a slice of black forest from 7.000 to 70.000 rupiah. Either it's cheap or expensive people still buy it and keep asking for more. Why? Well, if it is for one thing, when you use quality ingredients, this cake is a killer, more tantalizing with the cherry on top. That's it. It's no black forest with no cherry on top. With soft chocolate sponge flavored with kirsch (cherry water), then added with either fresh or canned cherries topped with whipped cream, this cake has never been fail.

CARROT CAKE
This is the smart way to turn those beautiful fresh carrots into a scrumptious dessert, Carrot Cake.
Carrot cake can be your good choice of fiber. Half of the ingredients are from carrots. It also contains non-trans fat and less butter. Choose carrot cake for your energy boost, it is soft and moist, not to mention it tastes delicious with its richly fiber sensation.
RED VELVET CAKE
This cake is a stopper for its beautiful colors or red and broken white. Not just its look, its taste is super delicious. The sponge is quite extraordinary too. It is not just soft, it is super moist and has strong vanilla flavor. Not to mention there is a nutty sensation from the sponge itself. One word, Superb!
Not enough with the sponge, the cream cheese frosting is very soft and silky. It is so smooth. The sensation is just like when you are eating ice cream except it is not that cold:-)
Honest! Remember, this cake is not a liar. Why do you think it is named "velvet?" Because it has velvety texture to its every single bite.
So, if you dare to taste it, I dare to challenge you. And I bet you will agree with me. Red Velvet has all that it gets, enough to stun people and keep asking for more.

CHOCOLATE MUD
Why chocolate mud? I have no idea. I guess this cake got its name cos it is so muddy with chocolate:-) Anyway, this cake is also famous for its reputation among chocolate fanatics. I have friends who keeps ordering this chocolate. She said, "Just leave me alone while she is eating her chocolate." and always tells her family to stay away from the fridge. It's quite simple actually, it's chocolate sponge, dark with chocolate plus extra muddy with chocolate feeling. Too much chocolate? Not really. It does not taste very sweet because I use semi-sweet chocolate and I cut the amount of sugar to half. I did that after one customer told me that the cake was too sweet. But now? Of course not. So, why resist? Chocolate mud it is.

Who doesn't like Lindt chocolate? Lindt has made some of the best chocolate in the world. I love Lindt. I like high quality chocolate. I treat it sacredly :-) I enjoy every bit of the chocolate melting in my mouth. That's how I enjoy chocolate by let it melt. I can get the most benefit of it, the flavors and the sensations. Chocolate experts have also suggested the best way to consume chocolate bar is to let it slowly melt in your mouth.
I was curious how they make this high class bar, I went to visit them online, wishing one day I can visit Switzerland. Other than chocolate, this country is one of the most famous skiing resorts in the world. Not that I want to skiing, I really don't like cold actually. But just for chocolate, I dream to visit Switzerland. Anyway, I got lots of important information about chocolate from their website. One of that, is this famous recipe called "Classic Chocolate Cake." I thought to myself, how can I get lindt with good price? Impossible. I felt so curious to try it tho. I wanted to make it just to find out how good it was. But too bad. Instead of using lindt, I just tried using some couverture. I tought to myself if this worked then the recipe will work for me. So, what I did was changing the chocolate to the best I had (also quite expensive) then modified the frosting to make it even silkier and smoother. I made french buttercream frosting then mixed it with melted chocolate. The result? I got a super delicious chocolate cake! Truth!
There have been many chocolate cake recipes I make. Certainly you can get hundreds of them on the internet, but I have proved that this one is superb. Every time. Since I made this recipe first time, "Classic Chocolate Cake" has been our family favorite. My husband always says: "Wowwhohoho... this is sooo goood." I can't argue with him. This cake just wow me, from the first bite to the last piece in my mouth.
